Yes are an English rock band who achieved worldwide success with their progressive, art and symphonic style of rock music. Regarded as one of the pioneers of the progressive genre, Yes are known for their lengthy songs often with complex instrumental and vocal arrangements, mystical lyrics, elaborate album art, and live stage sets. Far and away the longest lasting and the most successful of the '70s progressive rock groups, Yes retained the same sound, and performed much of the same repertoire that they were doing in 1971 for a decade.
