20 Years of Jethro Tull is a documentary on the band's first 20 years, also known as Jethro Tull: This is the First 20 Years, released in 1988. It consists of interviews with record company executives, fans and frontman Ian Anderson giving a rough chronology of the band, interspersed with clips from music videos and live performances. Progressive Folk

In the wake of the 60's, a Folk revival started on both sides of the Atlantic. When folk artists turned from acoustic to electric, Folk Rock was born. Soon most connoisseur were talking of Acid Folk, Psych Folk, and Progressive Folk, all having limited differences and no particularly drawn-out limits or boundaries, but all relying on experimental or groundbreaking adventures and good musicianship, but not necessarily of an acoustic nature. Gryphon

Gryphon were a British progressive folk band of the 1970s, best known for their unusual Medieval sound and instrumentation. Spawned at the Royal College of Music and proficient in their musicianship, they started out making a name for themselves in folk-rock, but their classical training and their approach to composition, recording, and performance soon took them into the much bigger field of progressive rock, and eventually had them playing gigs in front of arena-size audiences. Read more here.

Jethro Tull

Jethro Tull are a British rock group formed in Luton, Bedfordshire, in December 1967. Their music is characterised by the vocals, acoustic guitar, and flute playing of Ian Anderson, who has led the band since its founding, and the guitar work of Martin Barre, who has been with the band since 1969, after he replaced original guitarist Mick Abrahams. Read more here.
